The ideal candidate must have evidence of successful outside sales experience, including sales to commercial and industrial customers.
Experience in the crane and hoist industry is a big plus, but not necessary.
In fact, individuals with a great sales background have turned out to be some of our top performers.
What's just as important as experience is being disciplined, organized and resilient; while being comfortable with cold calling; having a drive to succeed; being money-motivated; possessing a willingness to learn and enjoying talking to customers face-to-face.
Standard Crane is a well established overhead crane manufacturing and service company in the commercial and industrial crane market for over 100 years in the Gulf South.
Requirements for the Outside Sales position are as follows:
Possess a relentless pursuit to open new customer accounts, and service existing customer accounts.
Motivated to be successful and earn what you are worth! Available to work 40
hours per week, Monday through Friday, but no over-nights or weekends! College degree preferred, but not required.
Experience calling on commercial and industrial customers in the state of Mississippi -- Note that if you do not have prior Outside Sales Experience, we cannot consider your application.
Drug-free with a clean driving record.
Experience with quoting.
