We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team.
As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities.
This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.
Duties:
- Perform custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming - Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas - Empty trash receptacles and replace liners - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished - Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and polishing - Follow established cleaning procedures to ensure consistent results - Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) - Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor - Assist with other facilities maintenance tasks as needed Skills:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions - Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required - Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
