Description:
Perform quality process engineering activities in a team based environment which promotes Lean manufacturing. Focus on continuous improvement activities which provide cost reductions and quality improvements for the facility. Make thorough studies of existing conditions related to problems presented and analyze needed changes to reduce waste, improve quality and safety, and reduce operating expenses. Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodology to reduce process variation and to complete a variety of plant continuous improvement projects.
Responsibilites:
Report weekly processing yields, waste, scrap and output.
Conduct statistic data analysis on key quality measures, identifying improvements and delivery of appropriate solutions.
Identify, justify and deliver process yield improvements. All improvements to comply with state regulations and company quality, environmental and safety standards.
Monitoring key operational parameters to ensure maximum yields.
Agree, plan and conduct processing trials with external support function (R&D, etc.).
Evaluate new materials, technologies, equipment in order to develop manufacturing processes;
Conducting plant trials to gain in-depth understanding of processing requirements to ensure learning?s and improvements are in place before product launch.
Develop process validation and process capability studies to support product/process consistency.
Taking a leadership role in managing multiple projects within the category with conflicting priorities.
Communicate the status / issues of multiple projects clearly, concisely and timely to appropriate personnel and proactively identifying issues and developing action plans to drive resolution.
Contribute to cross functional project teams as either a team member or team leader and developing strong working relationships throughout the organization, demonstrating excellent communication of technical issues.
Ensure that policies and procedures comply with company and statutory requirements, including in Safety, GMP, Housekeeping and Quality standards.
Lead root cause analysis of Quality issues and recommend corrective actions specific to process.
Perform independent product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improvements in efficiency.
Lead and manage Lean Six Sigma projects in order to accomplish measurable business process improvements.
Perform independent product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improvements in efficiency.
Employ Lean Six Sigma methodology to accomplish business objectives. Includes the analysis, creation, and implementation of process improvements that reduce lead-time, eliminate non-value added work, improve yields, and improve process capabilities.
Drive change and process improvement projects and programs across the business.
Develop control plans and statistical techniques to meet objectives on new or existing products and/or processes.
Transfer knowledge of equipment and process through the training and coaching of all levels of employees associated with production.
Work with controls and instrumentation equipment and/or personnel to resolve issues or to provide process improvements on all process related procedures, batch cards.
Position
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree (or Masters) in Chemical Engineering or related field.
Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing, bulk processing, packaging operations and facilities.
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques.

years related experience in a quality/process engineering continuous improvement role.

years of demonstrated ability to drive process changes within manufacturing/engineering.
Computer skills that include experience with Microsoft Office, and/or other statistical analysis software.
Good analytical and reasoning skills.
A strong team player with excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Dedicated detailed-oriented self-starter with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to closure.
Good leadership qualities and have the ability to motivate others and delegate when needed.
Good decision-making and follow-up skills.
Flexible to travel, if required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
